INFANTS' MYLICON Drops (J&J -- Merck) Antiflatulent
Active Ingredients:
Each 0.3 mL of drops contains simethicone, 20 mg.
Uses:
Relieves the discomfort of infant gas frequently caused by air swallowing or certain formulas or foods. The defoaming action of INFANTS' MYLICON Drops relieves flatulence by dispersing and preventing the formation of mucus-surrounded gas pockets in the gastrointestinal tract. INFANTS' MYLICON Drops act in the stomach and intestines to change the surface tension of gas bubbles enabling them to coalesce, thereby freeing and eliminating the gas more easily by belching or passing flatus.
Directions:
- shake well before using
- all dosages may be repeated as needed, after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed 12 doses per day.
- fill enclosed dropper to recommended dosage level and dispense liquid slowly into baby's mouth, toward the inner cheek
- dosage can also be mixed with 1 oz. cool water, infant formula or other suitable liquids
- for best results, clean dropper after each use and replace original cap.

Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose get medical help or contact poison control center right away.

- do not use if printed plastic overwrap or printed neck wrap is missing or broken
- store at room temperature
- do not freeze
Inactive Ingredients: carboxymethylcellulose sodium, citric acid, D&C Red 22, D&C Red 28, flavors, maltitol, microcrystalline cellulose, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, xanthan gum, non-staining formula contains no Red 22 or Red 28.
How Supplied:
INFANTS' MYLICON Drops are available in bottles of 15 ml (0.5 fl oz) and 30 ml (1.0 fl oz) original pink, pleasant tasting liquid and non-staining formula. NDC 16837-630; 16837-911.
